1968 Dodge Dart GTS 2 door Hardtop

This Dart is very solid throughout.
Mopar Performance Magnum crate motor (360/380HP)
The engine runs excellent and the transmission shifts firm and has no leaks (Resealed last summer). The trans does not have a manual valve body. The front-end is tight and drives very nice. Approximately 20k miles on engine/transmission.

This drive-train combination is very respectable (12.90's @ 104 MPH @ 1100' above sea level) yet totally street-able.

Exterior:

The sheet-metal is original and in very good condition. Floor pans and frame rails are solid. The vinyl top is original and shows sun weathering. There is some cracking on the back under window but no rust. The original paint is chipped in various locations. There is a small dent on the drivers side at the front marker lamp (see pic). There is some small bubbles on the bottom of passenger rear quarter panel (see pic).

Interior:
Interior is in great shape. This car has a 1969 Dart GT interior including low back buckets and door panels. The seats were refinished using the correct 1968 Dodge GTS material pattern, but the door panels are the style of the 1969 model pattern.
The dash pad is original and flawless. The Pioneer CD stereo is mounted under the unmolested dash. 6 X 9 Infinity speakers are mounted in the factory package tray location and none of the door or kick panels have been butchered.

On the surface this Dart appears very original, however it has numerous upgrades that make it an excellent daily driver or a super sharp street/strip competitor and cruiser.
